References from same office?

Post by Anonymous User » Thu Sep 01, 2011 11:42 pm

One of the callbacks I received requires me to provide a list of three professional references for the job. I don't have a whole lot of work experience, but I plan on listing one of my previous bosses as a reference. I also plan to ask a professor that I work for. I don't really have a third person, except for another person in the same office as my previous boss. My previous boss was the head of the firm, while the third possible reference was, more or less, my direct manager. I'm sure both would provide good references, but is it generally acceptable to provide two references by different people from the same office?
