Ropes DC has already made callback offers. Don't know if they're done, but people started hearing from them either Wednesday night or on Thursday during EIP.Anonymous User wrote:Getting a little nervous about still not having heard back from so many firms... anybody have any news on any of these firms?

Re: 2011 Harvard EIP Thread
For any of you who have cancelled callbacks that you've already scheduled, did you just email the recruiting contact, or did you also email your OCI interviewer? I emailed them at the time to say thanks; wonder if I also need to inform them that I am withdrawing from consideration. Or if they just don't give a s.

I called the recruiting contacts and then emailed the OCI interviewers. I'm not sure it really matters, but I genuinely liked the OCI interviewers so I wanted to add a bit of a personal touch.Anonymous User wrote:For any of you who have cancelled callbacks that you've already scheduled, did you just email the recruiting contact, or did you also email your OCI interviewer? Re: 2011 Harvard EIP Thread
im reading in some other threads on TLS that if you're canceling a scheduled cb, might be better to call the recruiting contact rather than email -- i dont think the same applies to rejecting a cb offerAnonymous User wrote:For any of you who have cancelled callbacks that you've already scheduled, did you just email the recruiting contact, or did you also email your OCI interviewer? Soliciting advice. Already have an offer from Sidley NY. Just got a phone call with a CB offer from Paul Hastings NY. I'm interested in lit and IP. Should I even go for the PH CB?

Re: 2011 Harvard EIP Thread
just got 2 more callbacks in the last 2 days. So people out there don't give up hope. I also know a guy who got a callback from a firm who sent him a rejection letter and then called him to say they "accidentally" sent it.

I don't know if its YP; different firms look for different things and there's some degree of arbitrariness to the process. I have good grades (though not quite that good) and ended up batting a very high percentage, but also got some baffling dings, even ones for which I thought I had a great interview.Anonymous User wrote:So apparently Fried Frank NY sent me a ding letter.
