Hey TLS,
Bit of a dilemma about what to do - my first semester GPA was a 3.8 and this semester is looking like it is going to clock in just above a 3.0 (pending a gigantic surprise, the BEST case scenario at this point is a 3.1, given the grade that I'm waiting on). NO idea what happened. anyways, no sense in beating that dead horse. Overall GPA is a 3.4x.
SO, NYC biglaw bidding strategy. what do I focus on? I know i'm still in a pretty decent position as long as I proceed carefully, right?
Thanks!

Re: 0.7 GPA Dropoff at DCN
Those are still good grades and so the odds are still in your favor, but if your transcript separates grades by semester (and thus, makes the drop apparent), you should probably come up with a good answer for the inevitable interview question. Just pretend as though you're in the top third-ish (I assume that's where a 3.4 puts you) and proceed accordingly.
