My homeboy Frodo is still looking to find summer employment for 1L. Having struck out with all the large-midsize firms in the area, he has turned to finding an unpaid internship with a district federal judge.
Question: phone-call or letter to contact them first? If they respond positively over the phone I feel that it would be much easier for Frodo to personalize each correspondence.
I turn to you, TLS, for your knowledge and experience. (would ask gandalf but he hasnt been around much since he got those badass white robes)

It isn't the judges who actually answer the phones. The clerks handle the phones in the chambers. So there is nothing personalized you will have to work with. Just do a mass mailing and do it very fast, because it seems like many judges are right now going through applications and requesting interviews with applicants.bilboteabaggins wrote:Come now, valiant TLSers.
