Top 10% at DGC, secondary journal, good interviewer, etc. etc. I received 5 offers, two from V20 firms, during 2L OCI, but I decided to go with a relatively prestigious non-firm option for 2L summer.

If I end up deciding to try out 3L OCI, do I have any chance at all? I know it's usually a ghost town, but I'm hoping with my creds I have an off chance at getting something.

Similar class rank at a lower ranked school. Chose a respectable PI gig for the summer and left 3L OCI w/offer. Probably the exception and not the rule, but it happens. There is hope.

I know of at least one 3L who did gov't work 2L and locked down a great biglaw gig at 3L OCI.
