patent litigation government positions

Postby Anonymous User » Tue Sep 07, 2010 1:40 am

So far, I've gathered this list of patent law related government positions:
- PTO solicitor (some NYU law grad presently)
- DOJ Antitrust division (super competitive, so forget this)
- ITC OUII (bunch of people with 3-4 years patent litigation experience)
- ITC OGC (bunch of IP/trade people)
- ITC ALJ (god knows who)
- ITC commissioner (god knows who)
- FTC (?)
- Fed. Cir. judges (political appointees . . . but really, god knows who)
- District Court Judges (E.D. Tx, Del., E.D. Va., N.D. Cal., C.D. Cal., S.D.N.Y.,N.D.Ill.)

Can someone please continue filling this list? (anon bec pursuing private sector gigs)
I am especially interested in the District Court list, if you know a site that lists the most patent-crowded district courts, that would be terrific.

you have some of these already, but here are districts that have enacted special local rules for patent lit cases. doesn't mean they do the most of course:
