OP seems nice so I won't make premature ejaculation jokes at his expense, but c'mon. Way too soon for this thread.

Except that callbacks are, in fact, going out - which means it isn't too early.noquieromas wrote:OP seems nice so I won't make premature ejaculation jokes at his expense, but c'mon. Way too soon for this thread.

Rising 2L. Middle of the pack. Knew the Orrick interview had gone quite well.Anonymous User wrote:Stats? Class? Impression of how interview went?

Re: University of Chicago 2010 OCI - callbacks
I've only heard first-hand of one person getting a callback so far. What's taking so long? Based on the NYU/Columbia threads, it looks like callbacks were going out within 48 hours. Are Chicago/D.C./secondary market firms different?

Please include office locations when you mention a callback - I realize that many of these firms only have 1 office, but I'm only familiar with firms in the Chicago market. Thanks.

What Gibson Dunn office? The firm (DC, NYC, Palo Alto, Dallas, etc) interviewed for two days (Tuesday and Wednesday), but NYC was not there Wednesday.
If it was the NYC office making callbacks, there is still hope for those of us whose phones aren't ringing.

Re: University of Chicago 2010 OCI - callbacks
Seems like everyone, including NYC, is moving slowly. I hypothesize that NYC will be slower for out of town applicants since recruiters must fly back at the end of the day and thus aren't as likely to reconvene quickly with hiring committees. As for Chi, DC and secondary markets, those always move more slowly.
I'd think tomorrow would be the big day for lots of firms. At least I'd hope so. Silence kinda sucks.

Gibson Dunn told me that for the New York office a c/b would have to wait at least 2 weeks, because there were DC interviewers. So don't freak out yet re: Gibson NY...

well, I was actually freaking out about GibsonDunn DC, i.e. hoping that NY was making the callbacks. But, that's that.
