Hey TLS crew! So I will be mass mailing my resume and cover letter to a lot of midlaw and biglaw, is there a comprehensive place I can find a list? NALP?

Not exactly. You need to look over multiple websites:

nalp directory - the list of the larger employers in an area. Be aware that many major firms do not have a separate profile for all of their offices. Also be aware that not all offices of big firms, even nlj250s, take summer associates (ever, not just not in this economy).

martindale - the total (basically) number of firms in a marticular city and their total number of lawyers/practice areas

chambers - find which firm is strong in which practice area (for specific cover letters)
