Interview Question

Postby 24secure » Tue Feb 09, 2010 8:43 pm

Just had an interview with an office in the public sector. They just asked me one question, basically why I went to law school and then it seemed like all the interviewer wanted to talk about was my military service overseas.

Is this good, bad, or hard to say?

I think a lot of interviews are more about getting to know the person, how they relate, and if they will fit in at the office.

My last interview was pretty much the same, they really asked nothing that they would be able to make a decision from.

So I dont think its really a bad thing, probably just their way of getting to know you.

i think they are generally good. interviewer probably liked you

but what in the world do they put on their evaluations?

if you can subtly steer the conversation back to your marketable strengths or something, that's probably ideal. "yeah i love skiing too. i feel this ties into the law....?????? profit"
