Hey, I didn't see a Columbia 2012 group yet so I figured I should start one. I got my ED acceptance letter two days ago and can't wait for Sept to come around. Anyone else hear yet? Let's get excited, we're going to one of the country's best law schools in arguably the best city in the world. Insane.

Don't know...I applied really early in the cycle, probably went complete around the second or third week of September, so maybe that made a difference. I hope some people hear soon so I have some company. Good luck!

I can't tell you how reassuring it is to see two people get into Columbia on this forum with numbers almost identical to mine. I also applied ED, so I hope I'm also lucky!

It looks like all ED people should get their decisions by December 10th since that seems to be the last date that most ED applicants heard back in previous years.

I check my mail every day and my heart literally skips a beat every time I see a small envelope. Then I breathe a sigh of relief as I realize it's just junk mail. Phew...

Good luck to everyone who has yet to hear back, and congrats to those of you who are in already.

Oh that's unexpected - I thought Columbia explicitly said they only send out acceptances by snail mail. Sneaky sneaky! Has everyone who's been accepted to Columbia on this forum so far gotten their decision by e-mail, or is it a case by case basis deal?

Congrats! Although, I haven't been too nervous since I've been in the mentality that it's too early to hear from CLS. Now, each day that I don't receive a decision I'll die a little more inside.

I heard CLS routinely asks for transcripts to be updated with the most recent grades before sending out decisions. Any truth to this?

Hahaha I do the exact same thing - and I did this on the day our LSAT scores were supposed to come out as well. NOT healthy.

Do we think any acceptances are going out today? If they keep their word about evaluating them in order I probably won't be celebrating but it's nice to see things moving up there.

Hey, to everyone that is wondering about ED decisions, I think I got mine so early b/c I literally applied the first week apps opened up. I think I went complete by the second week of Sept, so I wouldn't worry too much if you didn't hear anything yet. Good luck, hope you're coming to the city too
