I know! It's like, the only reason I created a profile was to show off my stats, without those on there, the whole thing would just be, you know, pointless.

Same name, accurate stats. I get why people fudge too, but I think it'll be more helpful to future people if you put accurate stats.

if you're afraid of ED school finding out where else you're applying to, if you've got singular stats and are afraid that adcom can pinpoint you, if you actually think adcom spend more time on LSN than doing their job. everything that you put on there though is under your control, so [don't be stupid]

but yeah, i do think that having real numbers and softs up once one's cycle is over is good practice - paying it forward.

Does anyone know if it's possible to change your screen name on LSN without opening a new account? I'm on there as CoolStoryHansel but think my street cred (view count) might benefit from changing it to ccs1702. I emailed the admins, but I'm sure they have more pressing issues.

You don't want to be identifiable. If I got into my first choice, I would immediately put the correct stats up.

Thanks for your answer. I am not ED-ing any school since my top school does not offer that. I would be shocked if an adcomm really spent the time to link up my profile to my app, especially since I didn't really put anything controversial on my LSN profile.
