Re: Helpful work experience?
Summer is so short that it won't significantly help, but it can't hurt either. WE is generally defined as a couple of years of post-graduate professional experience. That said, if you don't have much in the way of part-time work experience or internships, it could possibly hurt you. (because most everyone will have that) It sounds like decent money for the time required. Take it.

no school will carelibertarian wrote:I recently interviewed for a summer intern position with a very small midwest organization that does mediation work- they help government agencies, private businesses, and other organizations come to a consensus rather than litigate.
Because it seems like there is a general shift toward mediation rather than litigating, do you all think that an intern position with this organization would be a positive on an app?
Also, they'll pay me about $10,000 for the summer, with lots of time off to prepare for the LSAT.
Thoughts?
