February LSAT for scholarship boost

Post by ghklawschool » Wed Dec 20, 2017 7:57 am

Hi, so earlier in this cycle, I was advised in this forum that it would be a reasonable choice to retake in Feb for a scholarship boost. I have not registered for Feb test, however, because I am worried about schools holding my application. Most schools I'm waiting decision for don't explicitly state their policy regarding holding applications for future LSATs, apart from saying that they accept Feb scores on petition-basis or that they accept Feb score but applicants will be at disadvantage.

Can I email schools and explicitly ask them not to hold my application? Will the fact that I am retaking Feb test for scholarship purpose negatively influence my pending application?
