uhhh make sure you can even apply places with a deferral. You might have to sit out the entire cycle if you want out of it.

You should be more specific about your situation, but by the average reapplying is worth it.

I guarantee there's something in writing. Schools have specific deferral policies, and they usually bind you to the point of not being able to apply anywhere during the current cycle. Make sure you actually know what the terms of the agreement were, because 1) admissions departments talk to each other and 2) the bar will hear about it if you pull a dick move.
