this year 3.5 seemed to be the floor for NU ED. Assuming your 3.5 is a 3.5 and not a 3.49, I'd say you probably have a good shot assuming you don't interview horribly (NU will interview you). You are definitely going to have people tell you you'll get similar/better results from similar/better schools with an RD application and you definitely could. I think people are going to be too optimistic about your RD scholarships, though, and your numbers could see 150 to Michigan, UVA, etc, but look at the bulk of mylsn profiles with your numbers -- this past cycle, WL->A at H, only one other t13 acceptance (Columbia)this past cycle, H3 cycles ago, best result is 120k at Mich, this past cycle, 90k at NU, 60k at NYU, 3 cycles ago, 90k at Columbia, Duke - they're not getting 6 figure t13 scholarships the majority of the time. You have reasons to think you might perform better than these applicants (older apps not as relevant since schools are seeming more generous, maybe better softs/WE, etc), but how much better?

Not sure what I mean by "good shot," but would say its worth applying and you could get it.
