Updating Resume for Spring
I'm just curious how I should handle some information. Next spring, I am part of a school program that sends students to DC to take classes and also work a full-time membership. I included that information on my applications but I didn't know where I was going to intern but now I that I will be interning at Heritage. I feel like this is a better soft for me as a KJD but how do include info on my resume about a job that I won't start till January?

Re: Updating Resume for Spring
If the job isn't starting until January, it doesn't belong on your resume until January. The only place it might belong is under any kind of honors/achievements category you have under your education section.
That said, no one's going to care. This won't make a difference on your application.

Re: Updating Resume for Spring
Kinda relevant to this topic so gonna post here...
Hey everyone,
I began submitting applications about a month ago. During that time, I had just moved to Colorado and was wrapping up a temporary/remote work position that was not extremely law school relevant (working as an assistant for small real estate company). A few weeks ago, I started my new position working for the Colorado DNR within the Parks and Wildlife department. I am working in land conservation as a program assistant to the legal team. Since I am planning to pursue environmental law, this is a great and very relevant experience.
My question... I have not heard back from any schools yet (early still I know), so I was wondering if I should send an updated resume with this new job included?
Would love anyone's feedback/thoughts and knowledge to if there is a specific protocol (outside of what the specific schools require).
Thanks in advance!
