Reapplication questions

Post by pirate101 » Fri Oct 21, 2016 12:30 pm

Hello all,

So last cycle I applied to a ton of schools with a 3.0 (upwards trend) and 157. I had been out of school with a full time job at a law firm for two years at that point and know I had strong recommendations and essays.

I received scholarship to Lewis and Clark, University of Denver, Brooklyn, Seattle University, San Fran, and some others.

I was waitlisted at University of CO and UNC.

I am reapplying with sadly just a two point lsat increase so a 3.0 and 159. I know still low for CO and UNC, but I was waitlisted at both last year and not removed until classes started. Do you think I have any higher chance with my minimal increase and extra year of work experience?

Thank you!

Higher chance? Sure.
Probable? No.
Even if you get in, it will be at sticker price which is no bueno.

You'll get much better money than you did last year at the other schools though.
