I'm hoping to strengthen my UVA app (UR since Oct) by submitting an additional essay and updating my resume. Since I initially submitted my app, I've gotten a spring internship with a law firm doing pro bono work and feel this new info may help offset my boring kJD employment and also show a commitment to PI. I've seen past advice that you should keep your resume to one page, but when I added the current info, the oldest job entry got bumped to page 2. Should I just delete that? (Office supply store summer job in 2012) or should I make the resume two pages (or decrease the font size?)
Also, should I go ahead and submit my updated resume to other schools as well, even if I'm not submitting additional essays? I think sending two documents to UVA may help me out, but I don't know if an updated resume by itself would annoy admissions more than it would help me.

Re: Submitting an updated resume
My law school resume was a page and a third. It was fine.
My current resume for job seeking is one page. Anything more than two in that regard is probably not a good idea.
Best of luck!
