I recently got admitted to the program I was on the waitlist for. But since their offer for admission was so late I accepted another offer, paid the tution deposit and started the registration process. The program I was on the waitlist for is where I really want to go. Is there any barrier to removing yourself (other than sending an email to admissions) once you've reached this point?
