Re: Can a school know if you're already enrolled somewhere else?
I'm pretty sure every application asks if you've ever attended another law school. Lying about it would be a bad idea. I don't know if there is a database or not, but I can't imagine the Law School community is THAT small. Just be honest, and explain your situation.

They will know. Schools you apply to will all receive an LSAC report, which lists any schools you have been or are currently enrolled in. Also even if they disnt have this information, if you lie about it, it will most definitely come back to haunt you and you may not be eligible to pass the bar. Not the mention that it's unethical to lie about it, especially since every application asks about it.
The fact that I had previously been enrolled somewhere else did not affect my cycle one bit, but I didn't have any grades. I imagine that you will have to have a very good explanation as to why you're failing out that will frame things in a way that will make it clear that it won't happen again.
