Chances at NYU with work experience

Post by girllovesgoldfish » Sat Dec 06, 2014 7:05 pm

Hi - wanted to have everyones take on chances of admission to nyu with the below details.

Lsat - 170
gpa - 3.7

have 4 years of full time work experience in bankruptcy from the financial side. I know my numbers are close to median, but with overall applications down this cycle so do you think the 4 years of work experience is enough to tilt the scales?

thanks

Okay - ill rephrase - what is the value of 4 years work experience at a hedge fund before applying?

Likely helpful at OCI but schools could care less unless you have really special softs and what you listed isn't special. It's numbers/GPA that matters.
