I think HYSCCN would be fine...
Assuming there isn't some horrible deficiency in your application that you aren't telling us about.

I still think the best advice is to blanket the T14 and see if you get a full-tuition scholarship. NYC big law is accessible out of any top school -- no reason to pay significantly more for HLS/CLS.

I imagine you got a ton of fee waivers, just apply at T6 + Free, to negotiate scholarships later.

Realistically, you're not going to end up at Georgetown unless there is something nonacademic that is seriously wrong with you. But scholarship offers can be a bit random, so I'd be inclined to apply to the top 8 or so. I'd even include Cornell (NYC biglaw being rather their thing), but if you're willing to pay premium to go to Columbia then it's likely a wasted app for you personally. Also, keep an eye out for fee waivers. Odds of you not getting into H and getting shafted on aid at Columbia are low, but cheap apps at Duke etc might give you some insurance.

Top 8 doesn't make sense.. Definitely blanket the T-14, minus Georgetown. If you want to fix the K-JD issue, just get some work experience.lawstud24 wrote:Thanks for all your help! I'm a pretty standard applicant, regular softs, non-urm, first time taking LSAT. One problem might be that I'm a K-JD from Canada?
I'll probably apply to top 6 or 8 and whichever schools that give fee waivers, thanks again!
