Working Less than a Year before Law School

Post by lilkrnq » Tue Nov 18, 2014 2:53 pm

Hi. I'm sorry if this is not the right forum but I wasn't sure where else to put this topic. I'm hoping to apply this cycle for law school but don't know what do in terms of looking for a job. I quit my job some months ago to study for the LSAT and to attend to some other things that came up. Even if I were to get a job at a law firm in December and work all the way up to August, that is less than a full year. Plus, I know that I will be directly asked if I am going to law school so even if I were to avoid answering that, it will look dishonest because the process takes some time and they will know that I've at least was thinking about it. Wondering if anybody has any advice because I do need the money. Is there the same stigma for this if I were to get a part time job and then decide to leave 9 months later? Any advice would be appreciated.
