I assume these are all new, or did they just all managed to get posted finally?LurkerShirker wrote:All the official 509s are now up on the ABA website.
Could you link please? I'm unable to find, and am not an ABA member.

Looking at the 509, can you update WUSTL's 25th GPA to 3.20? Looks like I was slightly off in my info.

Re: C/O 2017 Median LSAT/GPA/Class Size (New Stats!!!)
Interesting facts from the 509s:
Arizona State -- took 66 transfers this year ( and 143 ILs) - so roughly 32% of their 2L class is transfers.
44 of the 66 transfers were from Arizona Summit
The transfers had a median GPA of 3.23 during their 1L year
Arizona Summit's median LSAT is 144
Arizona State's median LSAT is 162.
So basically, Arizona Summit is becoming a farm team for Arizona State -- where low LSAT kids go until the ABA stops counting them.
An Arizona State degree is essentially meaningless.

Dirigo does a much better job of following the thread. Shall I just delete my spreadsheet and you can post yours to the OP?

Re: C/O 2017 Median LSAT/GPA/Class Size (New Stats!!!)
Took a couple hours to update the spreadsheet, because real life Tuesdays are boring af.
Updated the top 145 schools with the c/o 2017 509's. I know for a fact they are all correct.
However, the few times I checked, I did notice errors for the c/o 2016 data. I don't have the patience to go through and update old data that isn't pertinent to 0L's making decisions. Just wanted to let you all know so you don't swear by data that may be wrong. Next year's spreadsheet will be all correct if we transfer the correct c/o 2017 data over and diligently go through correcting the c/o data when 2018 509's are released.
I haven't done the unranked ones yet.
Biggest TTT shifts were Brooklyn (as discussed) from 159 median to 156 median & Rutgers-Camden from 158 to 155. Both raised class sizes too. What toilets.

I went through and updated mine and will complete it later tonight hopefully. I'll also update it when the new USNWR rankings come out and for next year's c/o 2018 data since I'll be around TLS and super interested in the medians I will be applying based off of.blueberrycrumble wrote:Dirigo does a much better job of following the thread. I'm more than happy to take take over if you'd rather me do it.
ETA: Done.

Damn Rigo, look at you go. Leave me all the unranked ones to finish off. I've got the day off work tomorrow and I find those the most entertaining.Dirigo wrote:Took a couple hours to update the spreadsheet, because real life Tuesdays are boring af.

You can have 'em! Just make sure to check them all even if the data is already filled in. Sometimes the class size was a little different from what was initially reported, and that in turn threw off the GPA numbers a bit.whitespider wrote: Damn Rigo, look at you go. I had the spreadsheet open on my laptop and the ABA site pylon posted on my ipad. It helped for efficient transfer. Hopefully you won't need to keep flipping back and forth between windows.

Sorting through the unranked schools allows me to find things like this...
The 2014 numbers for my favorite ABA Accredited school:
Pontifical Catholic of PR
131/134/138 (-1/-1/-1)
148 Enrolled (-46)
32% Bar Passage Rate
82% Of Students Paying Sticker

25% of the class with a 131 or worse... that's a 2.5 percentile score. You could literally christmas-tree you way into a score higher than a 131.whitespider wrote:Sorting through the unranked schools allows me to find things like this...
