I went under review within 3 days also, above both medians. It seems to be normal at NYU. There's really no point in speculating why or what it could mean since no one other than the admissions office would know.

Some people with decent numbers have been under review for months.

Back in the day (2011), you could use your SSN and birthdate to try to log into the admitted students website. If the system let you log in, you were accepted. I found out that way before my purple envelope.
