Financial Aid Question on Applications

Post by blkstl » Wed Nov 20, 2013 11:50 pm

I have a question that may seem extremely stupid. But, I started freaking out about it nonetheless.

On each schools application, they ask something along the lines of "Are you applying for financial aid?" Does saying yes to this question have any bearing on the length your admissions process? Are they asking if you intend to apply for financial aid after admission, or are you applying for it right now?

I know this cycle's applicants can't apply for financial aid until the first of the year, but I just want to make sure my application isn't going to be held.

I doubt it will have any impact on the time it takes to be admitted. In any case, if you plan to apply for financial aid, you should answer "yes" to this question.
