Electronic LOR submission

Post by illyria » Tue Nov 05, 2013 10:53 am

How long does it take for LSAC to process electronically submitted LORs?
One of my recommenders submitted it a couple of days ago, but it is still not showing up in my account.

Usually you get notification immediately from LSAC that the LOR has been electronically submitted. That's how it went for me with both LORS that were submitted electronically. If I were you (since I wouldn't want to confront my prof. about having uploaded incorrectly if not totally sure) I'd contact LSAC and see if they received the LOR, if it's being processed, etc.

They are uploaded instantly, but you will not receive a notification until like 2am or 3am the following day (I assume this is when their system updates or whatnot), but the moment they upload it you can see it. So if it is not there your professor did something wrong.
