Question about ticket?

Post by Nothing but the Funk » Fri Jul 19, 2013 1:48 pm

So last year I was in an accident in the parking deck at my university and was charged with reckless driving. I hired an attorney and he got the charge dropped completely. there was no final charge against me, my insurance just had to pay for the repairs of the other guy's car. Is this something that I will need to disclose on my applications?

If the app asks for incidents in which you were charged, even if the charges were dropped, then yes. Just read the directions and follow them. The apps all ask for slightly different things.

If there's doubt, disclose. One driving incident isn't going to kill your admissions chances, but failing to disclose when it turns out you should have could definitely hurt when it comes time to pass the bar.
