If I take a course as pass/fail, pass it, but re-take later because it's a required course for my major, how would LSAC calculate my GPA?
i.e. Let's say I took Philosophy 101 in Fall 2012. I decided to P/F it and receive a P (we have this option for every class), but I must receive a quality grade for my major, so I re-take the same course in Spring 2012, and get an A-.
Both grades and courses are shown on my transcript.

Re: LSDAS GPA calculation question
P/F won't affect your LSAC GPA, so you'll just get credit for the A-. This is only because its P/F though, for any other class you retake both grades will be counted.
