CAS A&E

Post by nba101790 » Sun Jan 27, 2013 10:50 am

Apologies if this is in the wrong place.

I studied abroad for a year as part of my undergraduate education. A few months back I was advised by LSAC that I didn't need to send in a transcript from this institution as it wouldn't be evaluated, but that I was free to.

Skipping ahead to early January. I submitted my applications without this transcript, with an addendum, and everything was processed and labeled complete both by LSAC and the various schools. The school, however, sent in a transcript to LSAC at some point in January.

Checking LSAC this morning, it shows this transcript "not on file," with a possible rationale being that its only listed as a courtesy. Further, it shows that an "A&E" update to my CAS report was sent to the schools concurrently with the original reports. So, two questions:

1. What exactly does all this mean?

2. Any cause for concern, as I'm already in review/complete at all my schools?

I don't know the answer to your question but I've found calling LSAC reps are very helpful over the phone. I would just call them and ask instead of relying on the advice of internet strangers.
