Re: Will this be an issue for C&F ?

Do you only do this for the school you end up attending? (Thats what I assume)

My circumstance: After reading stuff on TLS I've become somewhat paranoid about every little thing on my application that could affect C&F. Mainly, I didn't list the two jobs I held prior to college on my resume or employment section. My law school advisor told me generally to not include things before sophomore year of college on my resume, so I didn't include them and figured it made sense for the employment section to mirror the resume. Before TLS, I never would have thought that would been an issue. I left both jobs under amicable/normal circumstances (left for college). I actually wanted to include them to show how I've held jobs for a long time but followed the advice I was given.

So main question: Would it be appropriate and standard practice to just send an updated resume with this info after I am committed to a particular school? Do they even look at updated items once you've been admitted or just put it in your file pretty much?

Again, these are things I would never have imagined would matter as they are not lies/omissions or twisting of facts for some type of gain from an admissions standpoint. I can't imagine how something as small as this could actually be an issue with C&F down the road, but I don't want to obsess about a few random details for the next 3 years.

Thanks for any advice! If I come off neurotic, apologies :)
I agree with you: "I can't imagine how something as small as this could actually be an issue with" the assessment of your character and fitness by the state bars of your choosing.

its nbd...when you get accepted and decide on a school I would just email the registrar with an update or do it during your 1L year just so that when you fill out your bar app everything matches up. Your advisor was right about the resume stuff because you need to be able to keep it down to ideally 1 pg but for the work history part of the app you should list all (I think i remember for a lot of mine it just asked for the past 10 years cus thats what c&f looks at)

This is a non issue though and tls prob just has you more worried than you should be

Just FYI TLS consensus is that most UG "law school advisors" are worthless shitboomers so be careful to double check the stuff they tell you
