Marking "undecided" for a particular section?
Hey guys,
I'm doing all my apps through LSAC. The part that asks "what other schools are you applying to..." I don't want to list them all because there's a lot! Hah I'm applying to a lot because frankly my situation is kind of unique so im genuinely not sure where i'll get in.
Question: Should I just mark "undecided" in that section, or, should I list four or five close ones, relatively speaking in rank, to that school?
What did everyone else do?
Thanks!

I've yet to see that section required. I just leave it blank. They can guess.

I was told by two separate schools to answer it honestly. Both said it was a way for them to know who their peer schools are. It's for their benefit, data tracking or some shit, and it does not count against you.

If you are blanketing the T14/20/30 or something, I dont think its a good idea to list EVERYTHING. It would probably make them worried you wont matriculate.
Giving them a few samples should be sufficient.

I left it blank because I didn't want my safety to know they were my safety and my reach to know they were my reach, etc. Looking back now I'm pretty sure adcoms are more than adept enough at their jobs to know from looking at the tangibles where they stand, and divulging such data to them isn't going to hurt you one way or the other.
