citation after admission Forum

so I just received an alcohol related citation today, and have already been admitted and put a seat down to a school. they said it was just a ticket, but I still need to disclose, corect? I guess I'm just freaking out a bit bc I should have known better and it's obviously very recent. is this not a big deal assuming I disclose and don't let anything like this happen again? thanks.

what the posters above mean by "it'll matter for C+F" is that it it'll matter if you don't disclose. Unless you have a long pattern of alcohol related offenses, passing C+F shouldn't be an issue, especially since there'll be quite a time gap between this and the bar application. But if you don't disclose, it'll look like you're trying to hide it/are dishonest, so then C+F can really come down on you.

So yea, disclose to avoid reprecussions.

thanks guys, was definitely planning on disclosing, I was just worried the disclosure itself would hurt me. but will do, does it also need some sort of addendum or is "I received a citation for x, and I learned my lesson and will make sure it won't happen again" ok? thanks.
