June LSAT and waitlists

Post by ericdstl » Tue Apr 03, 2012 4:55 pm

I know this has obviously been asked and answered before, but my quick search didn't result in any clear answers. What I am wondering is if a significantly improved June LSAT is likely to get one off a waitlist, even in July. Specifically, I am waitlisted at several schools with a 167 LSAT, but I PT 170+(I took the 167 pretty much cold and completely bombed the games). If I were to score 170+ in June, would it be likely to get me an admit off the waitlists, or is it only relevant for reapplying next cycle? Thank you in advance for any input.

I'd imagine that it would be better to wait it out next cycle for the fact that you'll have more options if you apply early. In addition, you'll have a better chance of getting scholarship money.
