Didn't mean to scare everyone, I will add of course that my case is unique in that not only did I graduate in three years but I also have minimal WE. So that in combination with my age was probably the main reason for my cycle. I take responsibility for that, and I don't really regret the way things went down because of my unique circumstances but I believe my cycle is definite proof that numbers aren't everything for the T6. So if HYS is your aim, my experience tells me to wait a year, although of course you have to actually be doing meaningful things in that time. But I'm sure you all know that already, haha.

Setting aside the fact that someone, somewhere will make partner, then at least you get to get out of biglaw one year younger and more alive.InGoodFaith wrote:You don't get +1 years of biglaw, because you're only going to do max 7 years there no matter what (unless you make partner, which you won't, or take an of counsel position).
