Where to include a statement of diversity? Forum

I was wondering where I can fit in a diversity statement for schools that don't have a specific attachment option for one. I don't have any room in my PS for most schools to include this diversity because my PS utilizes an unrelated story that I feel is, overall, a better topic than my diversity. Could I include this in an addendum or do schools frown upon that?

Most schools say "you may submit any additional materials you like." In fact many actually allow people to submit a DS if you read their app close enough.
