fee waiver question

Post by xjykybl » Wed Dec 21, 2011 4:43 pm

This question may be ignorant, but I will go ahead and ask it.

I am about to submit my application in a week, and am still waiting for fee waivers from various schools.
(Columbia automatically waived my application fee, and Virginia waived my application fee upon my request by email).
I am wondering whether my application fee will be refunded after I submit the application online? Because I really don't want to postpone my application any longer.
Before I ask this question, I already have an answer from myself: the application submittion itself would invalidate the fee waiver request, and no refund will be given. But I guess I will ask around here just in case it does happen.

Has anyone got their refunds after submitting the application?

Thanks a lot

Some questions specifically mention they do this (I know BC does first hand). You will have to email the adcomm and find out for each specific school.
