Vandy Law Scholars Merit Awards

Postby leche » Fri Dec 02, 2011 3:15 pm

I know applying can't hurt, but realistically should I even bother? They only offer five full-tuition plus $5000 stipend awards.

My numbers are 166/3.94, so I'm already a borderline case. Softs are mostly academic awards and activities, an international internship, and one leadership-ish position. Post-grad work experience only as a bartender/server.

Edit: Also, I'm totally un-diverse: white, middle class, humanities major, my parents are even still married.

Like y'all, I'm hoping the selection has a lot to do with the essays. Can anyone comment on this?
