Hi, I have been getting a # of fee waivers from schools I am applying to including Columbia, UCLA, UVA, etc. since I got my LSAT score. However, I have not yet received waivers from schools I plan on applying to.
I have seen some threads in the October Waiting thread where the poster claimed they emailed some schools and requested waivers. Does anyone else do this and have advice about how to word the email request.
Thanks

Re: How to email request for fee waivers
Yes you can request waivers.
Just ask respectfully and include:
1.your lsac number
2.your lsat score
3.your gpa.
Though, I got solicited waivers w/o including my GPA (it hadn't been calculated yet.)
They get these requests all the time, good luck!

My name is XXX. I am hoping to apply to XXX School of Law, and I'm wondering if I qualify for a merit-based application fee waiver. My information is:
LSDAS GPA: X.XX (School)
LSAT SCORE: XXX
LSAC ACCOUNT NUMBER: LXXX
Additionally, I... (brief statement of whatever you think might be important).
Thank you for your time,
XXX
