No internships or extracurricular activities

Post by Deuce85 » Wed Oct 19, 2011 1:24 am

Hello. I am applying to lsu law school in the fall. I have a 3.1 gpa and a 159 on the lsat. I know the admission relys heavily on lsat and personal statement. I am pretty sure i can kill the personal statement. The thing i am worried about is that i have no extracurricular activities or internships. I was forced by my family to work at their auto parts business during and when i ot out of college. Will this hurt me tremendously. Thanks for the input.

No.

It will have little to no effect on your admissions chances.

Have you seen LSU's LSN graph? No one with a 159+ was rejected last year (well, no one who uses LSN).

To be safe: mention in your PS that you have always had to work - and make sure that other people agree you have killed it before submitting your application.

Also, are you any relation to MTal?
