Why U of ? Optional essay tips? Forum

When writing a Why U of ? optional essay does anyone have any tips, I want Upenn ideally because of location (my fiancé works in Philly) but also because it's a great school, advice? Also I'm looking at other schools with law and economics programs (fiancé will move to a city like DC) but how do I distinguish one great program from another in writing a compelling statement? Any help would be appreciated.

At the T10 I'm not sure how important Why essays are. They're all excellent schools. They know why you want to go there.

Penn likes Why Penn statements more than other schools I think. Write about wanting to do cross-disciplinary work while there.
