international mailing address? Forum

i'm going to be abroad for several months during my cycle, in a country where the postal system isn't all that great. i'm curious what other people in that situation did - did you have your admitted students materials sent to your parents/someone in the us, or give your international address and cross your fingers? i'm torn at the moment...

Notify each admissions office that you will be overseas and would prefer email communication. I think a lot of schools do that automatically for overseas applicants anyway.

oh sorry i was unclear - yeah, my plan is tell them i'll be overseas and not available at the same phone number, but i'm trying to decide where I want my admit packets and stuff sent.
