colleges attended on LSAC

Post by roz77 » Thu Oct 13, 2011 9:46 pm

Question about listing my undergrad colleges on LSAC. In my junior year of high school, I got dual credit for my high school chemistry class at a community college in the area. I later took 2 online classes there during the summer after my freshman year of undergrad. My question is, do I put that I attended there from 2006-2009? The chemistry credit was during the 2006-2007 school year, and then the summer credit was the summer of 2009. I wasn't sure what to put because that makes it look like I attended community college for 3 years, and that's definitely not what happened.

IMO, it depends on how it appears on your transcript. At my hs, dual-credit didn't mean that I actually "enrolled" as a student at the college. And, because I never enrolled as a student I was not expected to include it as a school I attended. Best thing might be to ask the school you're applying to if you're unsure.

you should put the dates. the law schools will see from your academic summary report that you didn't ACTUALLY attend community college for three years straight. not a big deal.
