"Discipline" Reports

Post by SisterRayVU » Thu Sep 15, 2011 9:54 pm

Not trying to split hairs on what disciplinary actions are, but if I was in the honor's college for UG and they had an honor's probation where if you fell below a certain GPA for the semester, you were placed on pro-b, is this something I need to mention? In the context of what most applications are asking, it seems minor and unnecessary to report it. But strictly speaking, when it says 'probation', it counts. I worry as it's not general academic probation let alone something that could result in my suspension and answering yes, even with the required addendum, might cast a very negative light.

tl;dr do i need to report honor's academic probation?

There's your answer.

Though if you're honest and write the addendum, it shouldn't be a big deal (insomuch as it'll already have affected your GPA).
