upa school transfer and addendum

Post by iski1080 » Tue Sep 06, 2011 12:15 pm

regarding gpa

i started at a university, went 2.5 years and carried a 2.8. then i 4.0 and had just over a 3.0

i then transferred into another university, where i carry a 3.91 taking more classes per term at a more rigorous level. since im double majoring (math and econ), ive taken enough credits to graduate from current university summa cum (might be magna cum) at 98% or 95% respectively.

should i mention this in addendum and what will LS think. i know its dependent on the LS but i want to see what anyone says.

thanks guys

This could definitely be an appropriate addendum topic provided you address the reasons why your GPA was originally low/went up and down and take responsibility for whatever that reason is, if appropriate.

Your dramatic upswing (and that you've sustained such a high level of performance) is something that would be beneficial to emphasize, but as I advise with any addendum, make it short and to the point and, again, accept responsibility where appropriate.

Hope this helps! Good luck :)
