I'm surprised the LSAT is that low.

Not flaming but when will a Vandy or UT kick Cornell out of T14 status?
As soon as those numbers become the only criteria in the rankings, probably.
+1

Gtown will leave before Cornell does.

You're thinking of WashU. Common mistake.

Do we have confirmation that the Fordham website medians are accurate? I could have sworn I called them and they said 166..... maybe I will call them again tomorrow...

This is slightly good news... tho it depends on the 75% number.

FSU adjusted its GPA median to 3.47 (-0.05)

.... about 6 weeks after it initially reported the new medians.

Stanford is taking forever to release the medians for the class of 2014....

I wouldn't be surprised considering the proximity in time to the Illinois scandal.

Also, I'm hoping the following is implemented:
JusticeHarlan wrote:Probably worthy of its own thread (and forgive me if it already has one), but because the idea of auditing the numbers schools report came up ITT:

The Law School Admission Council may begin policing the Law School Admission Test scores and grade-point averages that law schools report annually to the American Bar Association. The move follows scandals in which law schools inflated the academic credentials of new students.

Council President Dan Bernstine said in a written statement on Oct. 11 that the organization was examining whether it could confirm the figures in a "meaningful way." The council administers the LSAT and maintains a central database that includes each law school applicant's undergraduate GPA.

Quick question on these medians. Are schools with PT programs required to factor in both FT and PT LSAT/GPAs when calculating the "official" medians that are used for rating purposes, or are part time numbers dealt with separately?

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
