Transferring

Post by lawstu14 » Fri Aug 05, 2011 8:47 am

Hi all,

I was accepted to St. Thomas university in Miami and I was wondering if anyone knows how difficult it would be to transfer to U Miami law or Even FIU with a 148 LSAT. Also, what would my GPA have to be to compensate for my low score.

Thanks.

Don't ever go to a school with the intent to transfer. You only go to a school if you would be 100% happy graduating from the school. If you are even considering transferring before you start, it is a clear sign that you wouldn't be entirely happy with the original school.

There is a section of the forum on transfers you might like to read.

There is a search capability that is useful too.

LSAT score has next to nothing to do with transferring, many schools do not even ask for it on the transfer application.
