The gist of the ABA’s response, to our eyes, is: Don’t worry, we’re paying close enough attention to law schools. Given the hue and cry about law schools in recent years, we’re guessing some may not find this response satisfactory.

Personally, I am convinced that no long-term, sustainable solution can be reached regarding the woes afflicting the labor market for lawyers UNLESS the ABA is stripped from its law school accreditation and regulatory powers. The ABA simply refuses to do anything.
