one bad quarter

Post by senorhosh » Wed Jun 29, 2011 3:37 am

Spring quarter of freshman year I got a 1.57 GPA. I had some personal health issues, and got a C-, F and C (something along those lines).

The F alone is weighing my LSAC gpa down by 0.6 from my degree GPA. If I provide a reasonable explanation, would law schools that into account? And to what extent?

Unfortunately the LSAC GPA is what it is, which is all schools ultimately care about. With that being said, write an addendum and explain the situation- hopefully they can at least take it into consideration.
