I am confused about fee waivers
I am pretty confused as to how fee waivers work. I took the lsat last February and applied to only a few schools in march, received no fee waivers and was wait listed at both. Will schools just send Me waivers this cycle before i reapply?

Re: I am confused about fee waivers
What year did you list as your application cycle? Depending on your LSAT score, you could expect fee waivers this cycle. Also, some schools do the whole hidden fee waiver that's a happy surprise when you check out.

Update your application year on CRS and make sure you indicate you want to be contacted by schools.

I'm thinking about sending emails out to schools asking for fee waivers for the Fall 2011 cycle. Is it too early to do so?

Sounds good. Appreciate your help. So mid/late-July?bmili wrote:blehGPAgoodLSAT wrote:I'm thinking about sending emails out to schools asking for fee waivers for the Fall 2011 cycle. Is it too early to do so?
Too early, wait until June/July CRS searches begin

Re: I am confused about fee waivers
This is a very helpful list of when schools first started sending out waivers last cycle:

If you are signed up for CRS for this cycle, expect to start hearing from schools around those dates.

Re: I am confused about fee waivers
Please excuse idiocy, but I just played around on the LSAC website for about 15 minutes and couldn't find a way to change the year of application. Since I applied last year, I won't be automatically considered for fee waivers and I definitely want to be. Any help?TTH wrote:Update your application year on CRS and make sure you indicate you want to be contacted by schools.
